The shifting sands of the wide beach at Sandhammaren are a mere 10 k bike ride from Kåseberga. The shores have gone from steep slopes and rolling rocks to grass covered dunes ending in a wide beach with sand so even grained as if it had been emptied from a giant hour-glass. On a sunny blustery winters day at the edge of the grassy dunes a lone straw sweeps back and forth, around and around in the sand to form a perfect circle in the sand.
